BREAKFAST

As a chef-owned guesthouse, 8 Dyer Hotel + The Benchmark focuses on providing our guests with an impeccable set of brunch choices every day. During the shoulder season and when our brunch restaurant Yolqueria is open, you may be invited to dine there on a complimentary basis. In the summer of 2025, guests may choose a rate package that includes breakfast at Yolqueria every day of their stay. Regardless of where you are served breakfast, we will present you with a balanced and varied selection of local and organic items. For more information see our Food page.

JACUZZI + SAUNA

8 Dyer features an indoor Jacuzzi & sauna which is open year-round, providing our guests with an oasis of calm and relaxation. This space is not accessible to people with disabilities

FIREPLACES AND COMMON SPACES

8 Dyer's spacious Great Room and the Common Room at the Benchmark provide a a cozy central gathering point for all guests to unwind and relax. We offer coffee, tea and snacks, as well as soft drinks. This space at the 8 Dyer Hotel is accessible to people with physical disabilities.

PARKING - Free and Easy

As we have always offered, there is one parking space per room. The cars are parked tandem and we keep your keys so we can move cars to make them available for guests who need to use their car. Starting in November, there is free street parking all winter in Provincetown, and we continue to accommodate guests’ cars.

Next Season: Reserved and Independent Spaces

Beginning in April 2026, we will offer 5 reserved spaces for our guests. This will no longer require that we juggle cars and hold your keys. Each room can book one space that will cost $25 per night. The space can be added at the time of booking, or later, if there is availability. For those guests who don’t reserve in advance, we will offer you a nearby private, paid option, that allows parking for the duration of your stay, or you can park in a town or other private lot, also for a fee.

To add a parking space to your reservation, you should select “add a room” in the booking process (we know, a parking space is not a room, but in our booking system, it is). You can contact us to add a parking space. It is important to note that the parking spots on-site are size-limited: cars longer than 16 feet or wider than 7 feet cannot be accommodated. If you book a space and your car is larger than these dimensions, you will have to park elsewhere and we cannot refund your parking space fee. This is so, even if you rent a car and they give you a behemoth.

All of our guests should also note that street parking is free and unrestricted from November to April and a car is not generally not necessary in Provincetown in the summer months. We are also pleased to offer all of our guests a discount off of ferry tickets.
